Additionally, it is located next to 2 ecological hotspots, the Manjeera Dam and Singur Dam. Both dams and reservoirs are very photogenic and make a great destinations for picnics.
Manjeera Dam’s Reservoir is a wildlife sanctuary home to over 70 bird species. Many hiking clubs organise bird watching hikes here. Also there is an 800 years old temple whose standing pillars are made from a single cut rock.
